“WE LOVE DELHI” BY LEK & SOWAT AND HANIF KURESHI
with this beautiful french-indian collaboration between Lek & Sowat and Indian artist Hanif Kureshi. After speaking with children of the community who play cricket at their site everyday, the artists decided to write the text ‘We love Delhi’ in hindi which Hanif then painted on top of their sanskrit cyphers to create an artwork which everyone in the neighbourhood could relate to and enjoy. This festival has been nothing short of beautiful surprises and we are looking forward to the next artistic encounter
